Building a technology startup is not just a matter of developing the product.

It also means defining a business model, preparing the organisation to grow, understanding new markets, building relationships and spotting early enough the obstacles that appear when a company starts to scale.

With that aim, Myulab Innovation has been selected to take part in Andalusia’s ScaleUp 2026.

We are one of the seven companies chosen in Andalusia for this edition.

What ScaleUp 2026 is

The programme is aimed at young, innovative companies with high growth potential.

According to Enterprise Europe Network Andalucía, the goal is to support them while they prepare to scale and to facilitate their expansion within the European Single Market.

The initiative is part of the activity of Enterprise Europe Network, the European business support network aimed at helping SMEs innovate, internationalise and find opportunities inside and outside their home markets.

EEN Andalucía is co-funded by the European Union under the Single Market Programme.

What the programme includes

ScaleUp combines different types of support.

They include an individual diagnosis of each company, the drawing up of an action plan, specialised workshops, strategic support from the Enterprise Europe Network and an investment forum.

What is interesting about this format is that it does not start from the idea that all startups need the same thing.

A company developing healthcare technology, for example, has different growth needs from an e-commerce or business software company.

For that reason, the initial diagnosis and individual support are especially relevant.

Scaling before being ready is also a risk

For Myukura, taking part in the programme does not mean accelerating at any price.

The priority remains to build the product properly and to validate each of its layers progressively.

Myukura’s European dimension

From the start, Myukura has worked on a problem that is especially relevant in Europe: how to bring artificial intelligence into sensitive processes while maintaining a high level of control over data, infrastructure and human oversight.

Our research on specialised models and local processing is also part of that vision.

We do not believe there is a single architecture valid for every centre or every country.

That is why it matters to think from now on about a project that can adapt progressively to different European contexts.

A new step for Myulab Innovation

The selection comes in an especially active few weeks for the company.

Myulab Innovation has also taken part in the 8th MareNostrum Hackathon at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, holds ENISA’s emerging company certification and is part of NVIDIA Inception.

Each initiative serves a different purpose.

The MareNostrum Hackathon allowed us to go deeper into technical research.

ENISA recognises the company’s status as an emerging company.

NVIDIA Inception connects us with a technology ecosystem.

And ScaleUp 2026 will let us work specifically on the challenges associated with the company’s growth.

Technology is an essential part of Myukura.

Building an organisation able to take it to market responsibly is the other half of the work.
