Meta — WhatsApp Business Cloud API

Legal safeguard: DPA + SCCs · processing conditional on the user activating the integration

Myukura’s own infrastructure — authentication, database, storage, processing and deployment — is located in the European Union. The optional integrations with Google, Microsoft and Meta operate under each provider’s own infrastructure and terms; you can review how this data is handled in Optional external integrations.
The contact forms on this website are processed through Web3Forms, a provider that receives and forwards by email the data you enter (name, email address, phone number and message) for the sole purpose of handling your request.
The web analytics of this site are provided by Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, as data processor) and are only activated if you accept analytics cookies. It may involve transfers to the United States (Google LLC), covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, by standard contractual clauses. No clinical or patient data is used in this analytics.
Patients’ clinical data is not shared with third parties except where expressly required by law.
6. Optional external integrations
Myukura lets you voluntarily connect the following external accounts, to facilitate administrative and communication tasks:
Each user connects their own account. The external account is linked to their organisation and their Myukura user. The user can disconnect the integration and revoke the permissions granted at any time from Settings → Integrations.
Depending on the integration activated, Myukura may process the following administrative data:
- —Address or identifier of the external account
- —Visible name of the account
- —Identifiers of calendars, files, messages or conversations
- —OAuth permissions granted and connection status
- —Dates of connection, synchronisation and disconnection
- —Content of emails, events or messages, only when the user views, creates, modifies or sends them from Myukura
Myukura does not automatically send to Google, Microsoft or Meta any clinical notes, diagnoses, symptoms, history, medication, allergies, transcriptions, audio, medical results, medical reports, clinical documentation or AI-generated content.
External integrations are designed for administrative management and communication. Reading or sending clinical information is not part of the integration’s automatic operation. Myukura maintains a clear separation between the administrative data processed by the integrations and the patient’s clinical data.
Actions initiated by the user or by an authorised agent
When the user, or a Myukura agent acting on their behalf, requests to generate and send specific content through a connected integration, that action:
- —Is executed as a separate action, distinct from general access to the integration
- —Shows the user a preview of the content before it is sent
- —Requires the professional’s express confirmation before sending
- —Is recorded in an audit log
- —Must not be confused with normal access to Gmail, Outlook or WhatsApp
Tokens and security of the integrations
- —OAuth tokens are not stored in the browser or in localStorage
- —Application secrets are never exposed to the client
- —Tokens and secrets are managed server-side only, never in the browser
- —Secrets and credentials are stored in a protected way
- —When an integration is disconnected, the local references needed to access the service are invalidated or deleted
- —Connection, disconnection and revocation actions are recorded in an auditable way
Retention and deletion of integration data
| Type of data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Connection metadata (account, status, permissions) | While the integration remains active |
| Tokens and credential references | While the integration remains active; invalidated on disconnection |
| Temporary synchronisation cache | The time strictly necessary to complete the operation |
| Emails, events, files or messages selected by the user | The time necessary to provide the requested function |
| Integration audit logs | The time necessary to meet legal and security obligations |
Disconnecting an integration stops Myukura’s future access. Disconnection does not automatically delete data that remains in the external provider’s account — to delete it, the user must also use Google’s, Microsoft’s or Meta’s own tools. See the full procedure in Data Deletion.
WhatsApp Business
The WhatsApp integration is carried out exclusively through Meta’s official API (WhatsApp Business Cloud API). Myukura does not use scraping, automated WhatsApp Web, personal sessions, unofficial libraries or credentials embedded in the code.
- —It is used for administrative communication, not for sending clinical content
- —The user must have valid consent to contact each recipient
- —Messages initiated by the organisation may require templates approved by Meta
- —Replies within the service window are handled in accordance with Meta’s policies
- —Sensitive clinical data is not sent automatically through WhatsApp

10. Minors
