From 7 to 9 October, Myukura will be at the fourth edition of Canarias Destino Startup, organised by AJE Las Palmas at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in Gran Canaria.

The participation comes at an important moment for Myulab Innovation. Over recent weeks, the project has been selected for the 8th MareNostrum Hackathon at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, for Andalusia’s ScaleUp 2026 programme, and has continued to advance within the various technology and business programmes it belongs to.

The Canary Islands now represent a new opportunity to explain in person what we are building and, above all, what problem we want to solve.

Technology to give time back to the consultation

Myukura is working on an artificial intelligence platform aimed at the transcription and documentation of medical consultations.

The starting point is simple: part of healthcare professionals’ time goes on documentation tasks that are necessary, but that compete directly with the time available to listen, review information and attend to the patient.

Our work consists of studying how speech recognition and language processing technologies can help structure part of that information without removing from the process the person who must make the final decision: the professional.

For this reason, human review is not a secondary feature of Myukura’s approach, but a requirement of the workflow.

From Jerez to an ever-wider ecosystem

We are taking part in Canarias Destino Startup after receiving a direct invitation from the organisers.

For a startup in the development phase, these events are especially useful because they let you test the project outside its usual environment: with other companies, technology professionals, investors and organisations facing different problems.

They also let us explain something that does not always fit into a pitch of a few minutes: Myukura is not conceived merely as an interface connected to a large language model.

We are researching different layers of the problem, from clinical speech recognition in Spanish to the use of specialised models and systems capable of running certain processes locally.

What Canarias Destino Startup is

The 2026 edition combines an exhibition area for companies and startups with talks, round tables and a pitch competition for innovative projects.

The organisers present the event as a space to connect entrepreneurship, investment and innovation and to help position the Canary Islands as an ecosystem for new companies.

For Myukura it will also be an opportunity to keep testing the project before its next stages of development.

See you in Gran Canaria

We will be at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium from 7 to 9 October 2026.

If you are taking part in Canarias Destino Startup and want to learn about the project, talk about AI applied to clinical documentation or simply exchange experiences on healthcare technology, write to us and we will arrange a meeting during the event.
